Hi,

I just wanted to know, what advantages it has over the Microsoft application caching block?

The Microsoft Application Caching block and my cache uses most of the same basic features. Both store items in a hash table that allows for O(1) storage and retreival and I do scavange pretty much the same way they do, with some slight differences. My application was initially developed to replace an old COM+ caching library using Global Interface Tables and Shared Property Management and should not be regarded as a alternative to the Application Caching Block.

You should regard my project more like a study on the inner workings of an enterprise caching solution. But feel free to use it. it works great! ;)
